This time, I’m in Hanoi, Vietnam for work.
I’ve visited Ho Chi Minh City before on vacation, but this is my first time traveling to Hanoi.
One weekday, I happened to finish work early, so I decided to check out a massage place that I had been curious about for a while.
I’ve experienced the so-called “normal” massages before, but this time I wanted something deeper—and with more opportunity to enjoy communication with local women.
So, the place I chose was “Vip Tokyo Massage”!
１．Introduction

２．What is the Massage??
Now then, let me properly introduce the place I visited—“Vip Tokyo Massage.”

It might be a little hard to find at first, but from a tourist’s perspective, it’s relatively accessible—you can get there from Hoan Kiem Lake in about 30 minutes by car.
If you’re using Grab, it costs around $3.25 USD one-way (based on the current exchange rate; for reference only).

However, unlike Japanese-style bathhouses, there were no photos or blogs of the girls working there.

３．Entering the Massage
So, around 6:00 PM on a weekday, I arrived at the Massage.
I didn’t make a reservation, but when I stopped the taxi in front of the building where the shop is located, a guy at the front of the store greeted me and guided me inside.
He wasn’t the type of tough, heavily tattooed guy you might expect, but rather a slim, student-like person who seemed to be working part-time.
📝Overall, the atmosphere wasn’t underground or shady at all, so I think it’s a place that even beginners to nightlife would find easy to visit.
When I arrived at the entrance, the massage staff handed me a sign with the available plans listed. I then chose the plan I wanted. It was written in both Vietnamese and English, if I remember correctly.
After selecting my plan and completing the payment, I was guided to the massage room.
４．Start
After waiting for a few minutes in the room, the girl entered.
It wasn’t really an option to choose from, so I simply greeted her and went ahead with the service.
As for her appearance, it’s quite difficult to describe, but she was around 150 cm tall, with an average body type.
She had a small round face, and rather than looking tough or stern, she had more of a baby face.
She wasn’t exceptionally cute, but definitely not a letdown either.
Now, I’d like to say that we immediately started the massage, but first, we had a steam sauna.
I skipped explaining this earlier, but the room was a bit spacious with a bed, a larger bathtub, and a private shower.
The private shower had a steam sauna, which helped to relax the whole body with the steam.
At this point, I had taken off my clothes and left my valuables behind, so I felt a bit uneasy. However, when I peeked through the steam, I noticed the girl wasn’t in the room—she was likely preparing things.
After a few minutes of relaxation, I left the sauna and then proceeded to the body wash.
She cleaned me very carefully, from my neck down to my feet, while staying close.
By the way, neither Japanese nor English were understood, but honestly, that wasn’t a problem at all. 🙆
Once the body wash was done, it was finally time for the massage! 😊
５．More Professional Than I Expected…!
I was instructed to lie face down on the bed, and then the massage started, moving from my neck, down my back, and onto my legs with kneading and tapping. The pressure was just right, and it felt really good.
Compared to typical massage places in the city, the amount of time spent and the level of detail might not be as high, but it was still more than satisfying. I think it’s perfect for unwinding after work or a tiring day of sightseeing.
It felt so good that I almost fell asleep!
６．Coming
However, I have not come all the way here for such a massage.
The “unusual” massage using lotion started immediately.
I was lying on my back on my face down, and a mysterious soft object, which was neither my hand nor my foot, was placed on my back.
It was the first time for me to feel such an object, but it tickled me more than I was excited, and I had to struggle to hold back my laughter.
That thing crawled up my back and thighs so I had to plop my face down on the pillow and laugh 😂.
And when that massage was over, the next one was even more amazing…!
Now she straddles my back and massages my back and thighs with her whole body(!?!).
The sensation is kind of…. It’s like being washed with big lips.
In a way, I can recommend it to those who want an exotic experience rather than excitement.

７．Finish the service
After finishing, I have her wash my body again in the bath. She carefully washes my body, and then she washes my hair. Even though the shampoo stung my eyes, I kept looking at her… I imagine most men probably do the same. It’s inevitable that some foam gets in my eyes and stings a little.
After refreshing myself from head to toe, I left with great satisfaction and headed home. By the way, it’s a 90-minute session, but I left just shy of 80 minutes.
This is how I enjoyed my experience at Vip Tokyo Massage. I was very satisfied, but it’s a bit far from the tourist areas, so the access is somewhat tricky. I plan to write about other massage experiences, so stay tuned!
